Actually, I just know this place when I'm searching "must visit location" while you stay in Philippine. The location is quite far from Manila, it's about 3 hours by using bus public transportation. However, I am falling in love at the first sight when see the pictures of "Taal Volcano" in google images. Then, once have a chance to visit Philippine, I take "Taal Volcano" as priority destination on my itinerary.
Taal Volcano is located in Tagaytay city. The city that known as the summer capital of Southern Luzon because of its cool highland temperature. To find "Taal Volcano" needed an extra effort, sail a Taal lake by traditional boat for 30 minutes then tracking for 50 minutes or ride a horse for 20 minutes to find the top of volcano.
How to get Taal Volcano from Manila
1. From Edsa / Taft, take Jepney to Coastal Mall Terminal.2. From Coastal Mall take bus destination Tagaytay ( Alfonso).
3. Alight at Olivares square ( The location is closed to KFC, McD, Jolibee, Sevel and Chowking).
4. From Olivares square take tricycle to Talisa.
5. From Talisa, hire a traditional boat. (will take time around 30 minutes to find Taal Volcano locatioon).
6. Pay entrance fee for PHP 50.
7. You have 2 option to catch the top of Taal Volcano (by horse or tracking).
